Machined from brass, the adaptor offers excellent resistance to corrosion in treated pool water environments and can handle the elevated temperatures and pressures found in heat-pump circuits and pressurised filter systems. The 30 bar maximum working pressure provides a substantial safety margin well above the operating conditions of any domestic or light-commercial pool installation.

Thread & hose compatibility

The ½” male thread mates with standard BSP female ports commonly found on pool pump housings, chemical dosing heads, and manifold blocks. The 10 mm hose tail barb grips securely inside 10 mm ID flexible hose when clamped, creating a leak-resistant connection that resists pull-out under pressure.

Installation & tool requirements

At just 38 mm in length, the fitting adds minimal dead space to a pipework run and can be installed in confined equipment rooms. A single open-ended spanner (21 mm jaw) is all that is required; PTFE tape or a suitable thread sealant should be applied to the male thread before assembly to ensure a reliable seal.
