Blue Lagoon – Spa UV-C Disinfection Unit 12W 230V

The Blue Lagoon Spa UV-C 12W is a compact ultraviolet water disinfection unit purpose-built for spas, hot tubs, and small pools up to 10 m³. It uses a genuine Philips PLS UV-C lamp operating at a 253.7 nm wavelength to neutralise bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms without the need for heavy chemical dosing. Running on 230V AC (50 Hz) with an integrated electronic ballast, it delivers reliable, stable performance straight out of the box.

Compatibilidade

This unit is designed for spas, hot tubs, and small pools up to 10 m³, and is specially engineered to operate at high water temperatures of up to ±40°C — making it uniquely suited to heated spa environments where standard UV units may underperform. It connects via 50 mm fittings, compatible with standard PVC pipe, and should be installed externally on the pipework immediately after the filter. Maximum operating pressure is 1 bar, keeping it suitable for most domestic spa filtration circuits.

Instalação

Thanks to its compact dimensions (40.5 cm length, Ø 59 mm body) and included 50 mm fittings, the unit integrates quickly into existing spa pipework with minimal effort. It should always be installed outside the water, never submerged, and connected in-line using standard PVC pipe or hose. The UV-C lamp should only ever be inspected through the transparent components of the housing — never with direct eye contact.
