Waterway – Poly Storm Snap-In Spa Jet Diffuser

The Waterway 218-4000 is a replacement snap-in diffuser for Waterway Poly Storm hot tub jets. If your spa jets keep popping out, fitting a new diffuser may be the solution, and it is used in Poly Storm jets from many spa manufacturers.

Why a Poly Storm jet starts to pop out

The high temperatures and chlorine in a hot tub can fatigue the plastic clip that holds the spa jet in place. Over time this can leave a Waterway Poly Storm jet loose, so that it pops out of the wall fitting.

The 218-4000 diffuser is the part to replace in this situation. Rather than changing the whole jet, you remove the diffuser from the back of the jet and replace it with the new one.

Compatibility with Poly Storm jets

This diffuser fits the Waterway Poly Storm series of jets. These jets are used by many spa manufacturers, including:

The compatible Poly Storm jets generally have a part number in the 212-8XXX format.

How to choose the right part

Before ordering, check that your jets belong to the Waterway Poly Storm range. Look at the part number of the jet itself: if it follows the 212-8XXX pattern, the 218-4000 snap-in diffuser is the replacement to look at.

Because several spa brands use the same jets, the name of your hot tub manufacturer does not need to match Waterway. The jet type and its part number are what count.
