HydroAir – Genesis 900W Spa Air Blower with Pneumatic Control

The HydroAir Genesis 900W hot tub blower, part number G90-2AN-S, is a replacement spa air blower used in several portable hot tub brands. It comes with an air switch and tubing for pneumatic control, so you only need to connect an air button to operate it.

Compatibility and use of the Genesis 900W blower

This HydroAir Genesis blower is fitted by several portable hot tub brands and is suitable as a replacement in almost any spa. The part number to look for is G90-2AN-S.

Because the blower already has an air switch and tubing, it is controlled pneumatically. You simply connect an air button of your choice, for example:

• a Len Gordon LG15 air button
• a Balboa air button
• a Presair air button
• a Tecmark air button

Cable and plug options

The blower is available pre-wired, either without a plug or with an AMP plug.

If your installation uses a mini J&J plug, choose the AMP plug version and use an adapter from AMP to mini J&J, which is sold separately. Alternatively, you can reuse the cable from your existing pump if it is still in good condition.

Connection and dimensions

The blower is supplied with a union for 32 mm pipe. If your plumbing is different, a 1-inch pipe union can be selected instead.

Before you fit a new hot tub blower

If your old blower stopped working because water got into it, check that the one-way valve on the air line works correctly before installing the new one. Otherwise water can reach the blower again.

Please note that the carbon brush, also called a motor brush, is a wearing part. It is a graphite bonding agent that conducts the electrical current between stationary and rotating wires inside the motor, and its life expectancy is approximately 1500 hours.
