It is typically fitted when the original motor fails due to bearing wear, winding failure, or loss of performance after extended service.

Compatibility

This service motor is designed exclusively for new-generation (splined shaft) variants of the Davey Silensor SLS100E, SLS150E, and SLL150E pool pumps. It is not suitable for older “-0” generation models, which use a different shaft interface. Always verify your pump’s generation before ordering — check your pump’s label or service documentation to confirm the splined-groove design.
