Davey - ProMatic Salt Chlorinator Cell Pipe Adapter 63/50 - M1215

Davey – ProMatic Salt Chlorinator Cell Pipe Adapter 63/50 (M1215)

The Davey M1215 is a genuine pipe adapter designed to connect the electrolytic cell of the Davey ProMatic salt chlorinator to standard European pool pipework. It bridges the gap between the cell housing and either 50 mm (1½”) or 63 mm (2″) pipe diameters, ensuring a secure, leak-free hydraulic connection. This is the correct OEM replacement when an original adapter is lost, cracked, or damaged during a cell service.

Compatibility

This adapter is a genuine spare part for the Davey ProMatic MPS and ESC series salt chlorinators — specifically the ESC 16, ESC 24, ESC 36, ESC 48, and MPS 16, MPS 24, MPS 36, and MPS 40 models. It is not intended for use with other Davey salt chlorinator ranges such as the EcoSalt or ChloroMatic ESR series. Always verify your model number before ordering.

What It Does

The adapter fits between the ProMatic cell housing and the pool return pipe, creating the correct union joint for inline installation of the electrolytic cell. One variant of this adapter incorporates an earthing bolt, which is installed on the side of the cell housing opposite the threaded port and provides a connection point to an independent earth as required by installation standards. Replacing a faulty or missing adapter restores a proper watertight seal and maintains safe earthing continuity.

Installation

This part should be installed by a qualified pool technician in accordance with local electrical and plumbing regulations. Ensure the power supply and pump are fully isolated before removing or fitting the cell adapter. The adapter must be correctly oriented relative to the cell housing — refer to the Davey ProMatic installation manual (ref. MMAN004-5) to confirm the correct positioning of the earthed and non-earthed adapters.
