This genuine Davey spare part (M1576) is the barrel union reducing tail that steps down the 80mm cell body port of the ProMatic MPS50 salt water chlorinator to a standard 50mm pipe connection. Supplied and fitted in pairs, it forms the critical plumbing interface between the larger MPS50 electrolytic cell and the pool’s return pipework. It is the correct replacement when the original tail becomes cracked, warped, or begins to leak at the union joint.

Compatibility

This reducing tail is designed exclusively for the Davey ProMatic MPS50 (including the MPS50CE variant) salt water chlorinator. It is not interchangeable with the smaller MPS16, MPS24, or MPS36 models, which use different port dimensions. Always verify your chlorinator model number before ordering.
