Waterway – EMG 90/2 Single-Speed Spa Pump Motor – 2.2 kW

The EMG 90/2 is a single-speed, water-resistant replacement motor for spa and hot tub pumps, built in Italy by E.M.G Elettromeccanica. It is used in the current generation of the Waterway Executive pump, the Balboa DuraJet pump and some older Aqua-Flo XP2 pumps. It comes in three power ratings, so choose the one that matches the motor you are replacing.

Compatibility of the EMG 90/2 motor

This motor is fitted by several pump brands. According to the manufacturer information, it is used in the following pumps:

• Waterway Executive pump (current generation)
• Balboa DuraJet pump
• Aqua-Flo XP2 pump (some older versions)

As the motor is used across different pump brands, always compare the rating and dimensions with your existing motor before ordering.

Choosing the right power version

The EMG 90/2 single-speed spa motor is available in three versions:

• Shaft diameter: 12 mm

The 12 mm shaft diameter is worth checking against your old motor when you replace it.

Single-speed operation

This is a single-speed motor, so it runs at one speed only. It is intended as a replacement for single-speed pump motors and is described as water-resistant.
