Griffon – PVC Glue Uni-100 XT THF-Free Transparent 0.25 ltr with Brush KIWA

Rated to 16 bar (PN 16) and suitable for rigid PVC pressure pipes up to 250 mm diameter, the Griffon Uni-100 XT is a thixotropic, THF-free solvent cement designed for both interference-fit and loose-fit (gap-filling) joints in pool pipework, pressure systems, and drainage installations. The 0.25 ltr bottle is a practical working size for pool plant room installations and on-site repair work, supplied with an integrated cap brush sized to match typical pool pipe diameters.

THF-Free Formula & Reduced Odour

Unlike conventional PVC cements, the Uni-100 XT formulation is entirely free of tetrahydrofuran (THF), making it notably lower in odour during application — a meaningful advantage when working in enclosed pump rooms or indoor pool halls. Its thixotropic consistency prevents drips and runs on vertical joins, while still delivering the same durable, pressure-rated bond as the original Uni-100.

KIWA Approval & Standards Compliance

This product carries KIWA certification and meets the requirements of EN 14814 and EN 14680, as well as being suitable for pipe systems conforming to EN 1329, EN 1452, EN 1453, EN 1455, and ISO 15493. That broad certification coverage means it is accepted by pool inspectors and installers across the Netherlands, Belgium, and wider Europe without question.

Application & Working Conditions

The cap-integrated brush ensures fast, even coverage on both pipe and socket surfaces. Apply to clean, degreased surfaces (use Griffon Cleaner beforehand), fit the joint immediately, and avoid mechanical loading for the first ten minutes. Note that the cement should not be used when ambient or pipe temperatures are at or below +5°C. Store in unopened packaging between +5°C and +25°C.
