Fluidra – Sand Filter Drain Plug 2″ – Berlin Ø900 Filter

This is the genuine Fluidra replacement 2″ drain plug (sand purge) for the AstralPool Berlin bobbin-wound sand filter with a Ø900 mm tank and a 30,000 l/h flow rating. Fitted at the base of the filter vessel, it allows controlled draining of water and evacuation of filter sand during maintenance or winterisation — an essential component for safe, complete servicing of the filter.

Compatibilitat

This drain plug is designed specifically for the Fluidra AstralPool Berlin series sand filter with a Ø900 mm diameter tank and 2½” side connections, rated at 30,000 l/h without an integrated multiport valve. Always cross-reference your filter’s model number and the part number before ordering to ensure a correct fit. It is not intended for smaller Berlin filter diameters (Ø500–Ø750 mm) or other filter ranges.

Instal·lació

The drain plug threads directly into the dedicated drain port at the base of the Berlin Ø900 filter tank. Always relieve system pressure and isolate the filter from the pump before removal or installation. Use PTFE thread tape on the threads to ensure a watertight seal, and do not overtighten. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with pressurised pool filtration systems.
