This is the genuine Fluidra drain and bleed assembly designed for the AstralPool Aster laminated sand filter in the Ø750 mm / 2″ outlet configuration. It provides the manual air and water purge function built into the filter tank, allowing trapped air and residual water to be safely released during start-up, maintenance, or winterisation.

Instalare

The drain and bleed assembly screws directly into the dedicated port on the Aster filter tank. Isolate the pump, depressurise the system, and drain the filter to the appropriate level before removing the old assembly. Apply PTFE tape to the threads and hand-tighten before giving a final quarter-turn with a suitable wrench. Check for leaks on first pressurisation.
