Davey – Silensor SLS Series Strainer Pot Lid

This is the genuine Davey replacement lid (part no. 13620) for the strainer pot on all Silensor SLS series swimming pool pumps. It provides the airtight seal over the pre-filter strainer basket, keeping the pump primed and preventing air from being drawn into the system. Replace it when the lid is cracked, warped, or no longer seals reliably.

Compatibilitate

This lid fits all models within the Davey Silensor SLS series, including the SLS100, SLS150, SLS200, and SLS300. It is designed exclusively for the SLS pump range and is not interchangeable with SLL series or SilensorPro pots. Always verify your pump model on the data label before ordering. Note: the locking nut (lock ring) is sold separately and is not included with this part.

A loose or damaged strainer pot lid is a leading cause of reduced pump performance — air drawn past a poorly sealing lid creates bubbles in the return flow and can cause the pump to lose prime. Using a genuine Davey lid ensures the correct thread profile and material tolerance for a leak-free fit, protecting both pump performance and the life of the mechanical seal. Davey designs and manufactures its own pump components to work as a matched system.

Instalare

Switch off and isolate the pump before removing the old lid. Clean the seating surface and inspect the O-ring (sold separately, part 13621) — replace the O-ring at the same time if it shows any signs of wear or flattening. Thread the new lid on by hand until firmly seated; firm hand-tightness is all that is required — do not use tools on the lid itself. Refit the locking nut with the appropriate Silensor spanner and test for leaks before returning the pump to service.
