The Plastic pH Probe Replacement is a genuine Hayward replacement probe element for use with compatible Hayward pH controllers and measurement kits. Probe sensors degrade over time through continuous immersion and exposure to pool chemicals — replacing the probe element restores full measurement accuracy and keeps your automated dosing system operating correctly.

A worn or drifting probe is one of the most common causes of poor water quality in automated pool systems, as the controller cannot dose correctly if the sensor reading is inaccurate.

Signs That Your Probe Needs Replacing

• Readings drift significantly away from test kit measurements
• Calibration no longer holds for more than a few days
• The probe does not respond noticeably to changes in water chemistry
• The probe has been in continuous use for more than 12–18 months

Installation & Calibration

Remove the old probe element from the flow cell, rinse the housing, insert the new element and tighten finger-tight. Calibrate immediately after installation using fresh buffer solutions. Never allow the probe tip to dry out — store any spare probe with the protective cap wetted.
