Profec Glycerin-Filled Pressure Gauge 0–6 bar, Bottom Connection 1/4″ Male Thread

This glycerin-filled pressure gauge from Profec provides stable, easy-to-read pressure readings across a 0–6 bar range. The glycerin fill dampens pointer oscillation caused by pressure surges, pulsations, and vibration — making it the preferred choice for pump outlets, filter housings, irrigation manifolds, and pool plant rooms where pressure fluctuates during normal operation. The colour-coded dial face (green zone indicating the safe operating band) allows at-a-glance status checks without the need to read exact figures.

The bottom-entry connection keeps the gauge body flush against panels and pipework, reducing the overall installation footprint. The 1/4″ BSP male thread is the industry-standard fitting size for pressure tapping points on pool filters, drip irrigation controllers, and greenhouse dosing systems. The brass connector stem resists corrosion in humid or chemically dosed environments. The black steel case with polycarbonate lens is compact yet robust enough for outdoor plant-room use when shielded from direct UV exposure.

Compatibility

Suitable for installation on any system with a 1/4″ BSP male tapping point operating within the 0–6 bar range. Typical applications include pool sand filter inlet/outlet ports, irrigation pressure-reducing valve test points, drip-irrigation pump stations, and greenhouse fertigation units. The glycerin fill makes it suitable for systems with pump-induced pulsation. Not intended for gases, oxygen service, or fluids incompatible with brass and glycerin. For back-entry panel mounting, a 1/4″ BSP elbow adapter is required (sold separately).

Azud Pressure gauge male thread 0 - 6bar type glycerin filled bottom connection 1/4" — main
  • Glycerin fill eliminates pointer flutter on pulsating pump systems for accurate, steady readings
  • Bottom-connection entry keeps the gauge compact and panel-friendly
  • Green safe-zone sector on dial face allows instant visual status check at a glance
  • Dual-pointer design (live red + adjustable reference black) simplifies pressure-differential monitoring
  • Standard 1/4" BSP male thread fits the vast majority of filter, pump, and irrigation tapping points
  • Bottom-entry configuration only — not suitable for direct back-panel mounting without an elbow adapter
  • Glycerin fill can cloud or leak if the case seal is damaged, requiring gauge replacement
  • 6 bar maximum — not suitable for high-pressure systems above this limit
