How it is used

Isolate the probe holder, remove the electrode from the flow cell or in-line fitting and rinse it with clean water before contact with any solution. Follow the controller’s calibration sequence, immersing the electrode in the appropriate solution and allowing the reading to stabilise. Rinse between each solution to avoid cross-contamination, then refit the electrode and restore flow.

Service interval

Calibration and cleaning frequency depends on bather load, water chemistry and probe age; many commercial pools recalibrate weekly to monthly. A 30-piece kit therefore covers roughly a season of routine servicing on a single installation. Solutions are single-use once opened and have a printed expiry date, so store them sealed, upright and away from heat.
