Arad Type K Water Meter – 1½” Male Thread, Cast Iron Body, 0–20 m³/h

The Arad Type K water meter in 1½” (DN40) is a robust single-jet or multi-jet volumetric meter designed for cold and warm water measurement in irrigation systems, greenhouse installations, and pool plant rooms. Its cast iron body provides long-term mechanical durability in demanding outdoor and underground applications, while the high-visibility yellow housing ensures quick identification at a glance during routine inspections. The sealed, dry-dial register with clear domed lens protects the totaliser from condensation and fouling, keeping readings legible throughout the service life of the meter.

Connections are 1½” BSPT male thread on the outlet and a 1″ BSPT male inlet bushing (supplied and pre-fitted), giving installers flexibility to adapt to existing pipework. Flow is directional — an arrow cast into the body indicates correct orientation. Rated to 10 bar working pressure and a maximum fluid temperature of 60 °C, this meter suits both pressurised mains water supplies and heated irrigation feeds. This meter is suitable for integration into 1½” BSPT-threaded pipework systems using standard BSP fittings. The pre-fitted 1″ BSPT inlet bushing accommodates reduced-bore inlet connections without additional adapters. It is compatible with cold potable water and non-aggressive heated water up to 60 °C, making it applicable in pool heating circuits, drip and sprinkler irrigation mains, and greenhouse distribution lines. Not rated for gas, compressed air, or chemically treated water outside standard chlorinated pool concentrations.
