Zodiac – kartonowy wkład filtracyjny serii CS – C0272500

Zodiac – CS series cardboard filter cartridge – C0272500

The Zodiac C0272500 is a replacement filter cartridge designed for use with the Zodiac C-Series salt water chlorination systems. The C-Series is a straightforward, reliable range engineered for budget-conscious pool owners who want consistent water quality without the complexity of handling bulk chemical products. This cartridge plays a direct role in maintaining the performance and output quality of the chlorinator, ensuring the system continues to deliver clean, crystal-clear water with minimal manual intervention.

Filter cartridges in salt chlorinator systems serve as a critical consumable component. They protect internal cell components from debris and particulate matter that could otherwise reduce chlorine output efficiency or damage the electrolytic cell. Replacing this cartridge at the recommended intervals is essential to keep the unit operating at its rated chlorine production capacity and to preserve the lifespan of more costly internal components.

Parametry techniczne i konstrukcja

The C0272500 cartridge is constructed using a cardboard-type filter medium, which is a cost-effective and widely used filtration format in compact salt chlorination systems. The cardboard element provides adequate mechanical filtration for standard residential pool environments, capturing fine particulates before they reach the electrolytic cell housing. This format is also straightforward to replace, requiring no specialist tools — the cartridge can be swapped out during routine maintenance as part of a standard service interval.

As an OEM Zodiac spare part carrying the manufacturer’s own part number, this cartridge is designed to precise dimensional tolerances to fit correctly within the C-Series housing. Using genuine manufacturer replacement parts helps avoid bypass leakage or poor seating that can occur with non-OEM alternatives, which could compromise filtration effectiveness and potentially void the warranty of the parent unit.

Przydatność i zastosowanie

This filter cartridge is intended specifically for Zodiac C-Series salt water chlorinators installed in residential swimming pools. The C-Series range is designed for pools that benefit from continuous, automated salt chlorination — eliminating the need for frequent manual addition of chlorine compounds. The cartridge is suitable for both in-ground and above-ground pool installations where a Zodiac C-Series unit is fitted as the primary sanitation system.

If you own a Zodiac C-Series chlorinator and are carrying out scheduled maintenance or have noticed a reduction in chlorine output or water clarity, replacing this cartridge is one of the first recommended service steps. It is advisable to keep a spare cartridge on hand so that maintenance can be performed without downtime to your pool’s sanitation cycle.
