Davey – PoolFresh Cell Cable 20 g/godz. (PFD20CE) – 16288

Davey – PoolFresh Cell Cable 20g/hr (PFD20CE)

This is the genuine Davey replacement cell cable (part 16288) for the PoolFresh PFD20CE saltwater chlorinator — the wired harness that carries power from the unit’s power supply to the electrolytic cell. Without a functioning cell cable, the chlorinator cannot deliver the electrical current needed to produce chlorine, making it a critical link in the sanitisation system. It is typically replaced when the cable is found to be damaged, corroded, or when no chlorine production is detected despite the cell and power supply being in working order.

Kompatybilność

This cable is designed exclusively for the Davey PoolFresh 20g/hr model (PFD20CE) — the larger of the two PoolFresh variants, suited to residential pools, plunge pools, and swim spas up to 100m³. It is not interchangeable with the 8g/hr cell cable (part 16287) used in the PFD8CE model. Always confirm your unit’s model number before ordering.

Dlaczego oryginalność ma znaczenie

Using a genuine Davey spare part ensures correct electrical rating, connector fit, and compliance with the original design tolerances of the PoolFresh system. Non-genuine cables risk poor contact, premature failure, and may void your Davey warranty. As a direct Davey spare, part 16288 is built to the same specification as the original component supplied with the PFD20CE unit.

Instalacja

Before disconnecting or replacing the cell cable, always switch the power supply off at the ON/OFF switch to prevent the pool pump running while the cell circuit is open. The cable connects between the power supply unit and the electrolytic cell — reconnect securely and verify the polarity LEDs on the controller are functioning correctly after reinstallation. Installation is best carried out by a qualified pool technician familiar with the PoolFresh system.
