The Davey M1249 is the genuine replacement cell housing for the ProMatic (also known as Ecomatic / Chloromatic) ESR, ESC, and MPS series salt water chlorinators. It forms the in-line water chamber through which pool water flows across the electrolytic cell, enabling chlorine production. This part is typically replaced when the original housing develops cracks, leaks, or becomes too clouded to allow visual inspection of the cell electrodes.

This cell housing fits all ESC, ESCpH, and ESR model Davey ProMatic (Monarch / Ecomatic / Chloromatic) salt chlorinators, as confirmed in the official Davey spare parts guide. It is also referenced for MPS series units. The housing does not include the electrolytic cell itself, the cell head, or any electrical leads — these must be transferred from or ordered separately alongside the housing.

Installazione

Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended to ensure watertight unions and correct electrical reconnection.
