Rated to a robust 64 bar working pressure, this 3-inch Profec ball valve is built for the most demanding flow-control duties found in large commercial pool plant rooms, water treatment installations, and industrial pipework. The all-stainless-steel 316 body, ball, and lever handle, combined with PTFE seats and seals, deliver dependable shut-off across a wide temperature window of −10 °C to +150 °C, making this valve equally at home on heated pools, spa systems, and chemical dosing lines.

Body construction & corrosion resistance

The valve body and all wetted metalwork are machined from stainless steel 316, a grade that offers markedly higher resistance to chloride-induced corrosion than standard 304 alloy — an important consideration wherever pool chemicals, salt water, or marine environments are a factor. The two-piece design allows the internals to be inspected or serviced without removing the valve body from the pipework, reducing downtime in permanent installations.

Sealing & quarter-turn operation

PTFE seats and seals provide a chemically inert, low-friction sealing surface that maintains a tight shut-off across the full pressure and temperature range. A single quarter-turn of the stainless steel lever — colour-coded blue for straightforward identification on multi-valve manifolds — moves the valve between fully open and fully closed, with no intermediate throttling required. The generous 3-inch (DN80) bore minimises pressure drop at high flow rates, preserving hydraulic efficiency in main-circulation duties.
