Rated to a robust 64 bar working pressure and covering a temperature range of −10 °C to 150 °C, this 2″ Profec ball valve is built for demanding pool plant rooms, heat-pump circuits, and commercial water-treatment installations where plastic valves simply are not adequate. The grade 316 stainless steel body offers superior corrosion resistance in chlorinated and salt-water environments, making it a dependable long-term choice for both indoor and outdoor pool plant installations.

Quarter-turn operation & lever control

A simple 90° turn of the blue-identified stainless steel lever moves the valve from fully open to fully closed, giving instant, positive flow shut-off without the need for special tools. The lever colour-coding aids rapid identification in complex pipe runs, while the lever design keeps operating torque low even at elevated line pressures.

PTFE seals & two-piece body construction

PTFE seat seals provide excellent chemical resistance and a bubble-tight shut-off across the full operating temperature range, making the valve well suited to salt-water systems, chemical dosing lines, and heat-pump refrigerant-side ancillary water circuits. The two-piece body format simplifies in-line inspection and re-packing without full removal from the pipework.

Connection & dimensional footprint

Both ports are 2″ female threaded (DN50 bore, 50 mm outer diameter) with identical face dimensions on each side, allowing the valve to be fitted directly to standard 2″ male-threaded pipe or pump flanges. The installed length of 120.5 mm (Lb) and an overall handle radius of 187 mm should be factored into plant-room clearance planning before installation.
