AstralPool - Diffuser Assembly for Side Filter Ø 520 (SPHS520) - CE04300610

AstralPool – Diffuser Assembly for Side Filter Ø 520 (SPHS520)

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement diffuser assembly for the Side Filter with Yellow Housing, Ø 520 and 640, fitted with a 1½” valve (model SPHS520). The diffuser sits at position 9 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram and is responsible for distributing incoming pool water evenly across the top of the sand bed, ensuring consistent filtration performance throughout the filter tank.

Feladat és jelentőség

A correctly functioning diffuser assembly is critical to efficient sand filtration. It spreads water uniformly above the filter media, preventing channelling through the sand bed that would otherwise allow unfiltered water to bypass the media and reach the return line. Replacing a worn or cracked diffuser with this genuine part restores the filter to its full designed filtration capacity.

Kompatibilitás

This diffuser assembly is engineered specifically for the AstralPool Side Filter with Yellow Housing, Ø 520 and 640, with 1½” valve connections (parent model SPHS520). Always verify your filter model and cross-reference position 9 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram before ordering to ensure a precise fit. It is not guaranteed to fit other AstralPool filter series.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

Manufactured from chemical-resistant PVC and polypropylene, this OEM component is designed to withstand continuous exposure to pool water, chlorine, and salt water without degradation. Genuine AstralPool parts ensure correct dimensional tolerances and a secure, leak-free fit — something aftermarket alternatives cannot always guarantee.
