Flotide/MEGA – Heat Pump Water Flow Switch with 32 mm Glue Adapter

This is the genuine OEM water flow switch for the Flotide/MEGA Heat Pump (Type 3), supplied complete with a 32 mm solvent-weld (glue) adapter for direct integration into standard pool pipework. The flow switch monitors water circulation through the heat pump and prevents the unit from operating without adequate water flow, protecting the heat exchanger and compressor from dry-run damage.

Cómo funciona

Installed in-line on the water circuit, the flow switch detects whether sufficient water is moving through the heat pump before allowing it to run. If flow drops below the required threshold — due to a blocked filter, closed valve, or pump fault — the switch signals the heat pump to shut down safely, preventing costly damage to internal components such as the titanium heat exchanger.

Compatibilidad

This flow switch is designed specifically for the Flotide/MEGA Heat Pump Type 3 series. The included 32 mm glue adapter is sized for the standard pool pipework diameter common to above-ground pool installations. Instalación

The switch mounts in-line on the return water pipe feeding the heat pump, with the 32 mm adapter solvent-welded into the pipe run. Electrical connections wire back to the heat pump’s control board.
