The Netafim PRV 2000 is a compact, spring-loaded pressure regulator designed to deliver a stable, pre-set downstream pressure of 0.6 bar regardless of fluctuating inlet pressures up to 10 bar. Manufactured from glass-fibre reinforced engineering plastic, the body is robust, lightweight and fully resistant to chlorinated water and common fertiliser solutions, making it equally suited to drip irrigation systems, greenhouse growing installations and pool-side water features. The male 3/4″ BSP threaded inlet screws directly into a standard female-threaded manifold, valve block or filter head with no additional adaptors required.
Inside the PRV 2000, a pre-tensioned stainless-steel spring acts on a flexible diaphragm that continuously modulates flow to maintain the rated outlet pressure of 0.6 bar (9 PSI) across the supported flow range of 1.2 to 4.5 m³/h. This fixed-pressure design eliminates the need for on-site adjustment, reducing commissioning time and the risk of operator error. The regulated outlet pressure protects downstream drippers, micro-sprinklers and solenoid valves from pressure surges that can cause uneven distribution or premature component wear.

The PRV 2000 is compatible with any irrigation or water-distribution system using standard 3/4″ BSP female-threaded ports, including Netafim filtration heads, manifold blocks and lateral take-off fittings. It is intended for use with cold water only and is not rated for hot-water or steam service. The 0.6 bar pre-set makes it particularly suitable for drip-tape and micro-dripper sub-mains where emitter operating pressures fall within the 0.4–0.8 bar range.
