Delivering up to 30 m³/h at 5.5 kW (7.5 HP) and rated to 11 bar, the Foras KB 750 T is one of the most powerful variants in the KB threaded series — well suited to demanding pool plant rooms, large-scale irrigation headworks, and industrial pressurisation duties where both high flow and sustained head are required. Connections are 2″ suction and 1¼” discharge, both female-threaded, making integration into existing pipework straightforward. The three-phase 230/400 V, 50 Hz motor draws 11.1 A and carries IP55 protection, giving it additional resilience in damp plant-room environments compared to smaller KB siblings.

The KB series is built around two counter-posed Noryl impellers whose opposed arrangement cancels axial thrust and simultaneously delivers high head with strong volumetric flow — a combination that single-impeller pumps of equivalent frame size cannot easily match. At 11 bar maximum operating pressure, the KB 750 T handles system pressures typical of multi-storey plant rooms or extended pipeline runs without requiring an intermediate booster. The type-H mechanical seal with ceramic-graphite faces keeps the shaft dry under continuous duty.

Motor & construcció elèctrica

The externally ventilated three-phase motor is wound to insulation class F and protected to IP55, making it suitable for enclosed or partially exposed plant rooms. Thermal overload protection is incorporated, automatically cutting power if winding temperatures exceed safe limits. At 605 mm overall length and 330 mm height, the KB 750 T has a substantial footprint; ensure the base frame and pipework supports are sized accordingly before installation.

Construcció & materials

The pump casing and motor bracket are cast iron, providing rigidity and vibration damping under the loads generated by a 5.5 kW drive. The stainless-steel AISI 303 shaft resists the corrosion that pool-room humidity and occasional water contact would otherwise accelerate. With a Noryl impeller, the pump is rated for liquid temperatures up to 50 °C — adequate for pool and most irrigation duties; where higher temperatures are needed, the brass-impeller variant of the KB family extends this to 90 °C. The pump is not self-priming and must be installed with a flooded suction or a foot valve to ensure reliable starting.
