The RP101 is the genuine Pentair single-phase induction motor rated at 0.75 kW (1 CV), designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the motor assembly on the UltraFlow Plus and its platform siblings. It drives the impeller that circulates pool water through the filtration circuit; when this motor fails, flow stops entirely and the wet end cannot be salvaged without it.

Torque the collar evenly, reconnect the terminal block to match the original wiring diagram printed inside the terminal cover, and replace the shaft seal while you have access — skipping this step is the most common cause of a premature return visit.
