This is the genuine Fluidra replacement high pressure switch (HP) for the Zodiac Z200 R410 pool heat pump range. It monitors refrigerant discharge pressure on the high side of the compressor circuit and cuts power to the compressor if pressure rises above the safe trip point, protecting the unit from damage. It is an essential safety component within the refrigeration circuit of your heat pump.

How It Works

The high pressure switch is wired into the discharge side of the compressor circuit. It is a normally-closed switch that opens automatically when refrigerant discharge pressure climbs above the designed trip threshold — breaking the control circuit and shutting the compressor down before any damage can occur. Once pressure returns to a safe level, the switch resets and normal operation resumes. A triggered or faulty high pressure switch will display a High Pressure Fault on the Z200’s digital display.

Compatibility

This part is the OEM replacement for the Zodiac Z200 R410 heat pump series (including Z200 PI20, Power, and Everpac variants using R410A refrigerant).
