This is the genuine Davey replacement ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) probe for the Davey Regul’Matic pool water controller. The probe continuously measures the oxidising power of your pool water in millivolts, giving the controller the real-time data it needs to regulate salt chlorination output and keep disinfection at a safe, consistent level. It is a consumable wear part that should be replaced whenever readings become erratic, drift persistently, or the probe fails a reference-solution check.

The Regul’Matic is Davey’s automatic pH and ORP regulation unit designed to control salt chlorination systems; it monitors both oxidant (chlorine) levels via this ORP probe and pH, adjusting electrolysis output only when the water demands more sanitiser. Installation

The ORP probe fits into the Regul’Matic’s inline probe housing in the filtration return line. Turn off the controller and filtration pump before swapping the probe, then re-seat and tighten the probe body securely to prevent leaks. Once reinstalled, verify the probe’s response by immersing it briefly in a 465 mV reference solution and confirming the correct LED on the controller illuminates before returning the system to automatic mode.
