Davey – Peristaltic pH Dosing Pump for ProMatic Lifeguard

This is the genuine Davey replacement peristaltic pump (part number 16141SP) designed specifically for the Davey ProMatic Lifeguard pool chlorination and chemistry control system. It automatically delivers precise, measured doses of acid into the pool water to maintain correct pH balance, ensuring chlorine works at peak efficiency. It is the pump that is replaced when the dosing mechanism wears out, loses prime, or the peristaltic tube fails after prolonged chemical exposure.

Kompatybilność

This pump is a dedicated spare part for the Davey ProMatic Lifeguard controller (model series DPLGEU), which pairs with the EcoSalt 2 salt chlorinator. The ProMatic Lifeguard system is designed for in-ground and above-ground pools. Always verify your Lifeguard controller model before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

Jak to działa

The peristaltic pump draws acid from a storage drum through suction tubing and delivers it to the pool water via the injection point on the probe-and-injection housing. Powered by an extra-low-voltage 24 V DC supply from the Lifeguard controller, it operates automatically based on the pH readings from the system’s pH probe, keeping pool water balanced without manual intervention. The pump is typically replaced when dosing output becomes inconsistent, the tubing perishes, or the pump mechanism fails.

Instalacja

The pump connects to the back of the Davey Lifeguard controller via a dedicated Tamiya connector, which is keyed to fit only one way. Acid suction and delivery tubing must be routed correctly between the chemical drum and the probe-and-injection housing. Davey recommends installation be carried out by a person knowledgeable in pool plumbing and chemical handling, and that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn when working with pool acid.
