Operating at the industry-standard 24 V AC fusion voltage and classified SDR11, it pairs directly with standard 63 mm PE100 pressure pipe used in pool plant rooms, underground supply lines, and irrigation distribution networks. Fusion joint integrity

Electrofusion joining works by passing current through a precision-wound resistance coil embedded in the fitting bore. The coil heats the interface between fitting and pipe wall, melting them together into a single homogeneous structure. Once cooled, the joint reaches full pipe-wall strength and is completely monolithic — there are no mechanical seals or gaskets that can degrade over time, making the connection well-suited to buried or inaccessible runs beneath pool surrounds and terraces.

Material & pressure class

Moulded from PE100 — the highest-density grade of polyethylene used in pressure piping — the socket offers superior resistance to slow-crack growth compared to PE80. The SDR11 wall-thickness ratio delivers a 16 bar (PN16) working pressure for water service, providing a comfortable safety margin for typical pool pump circuits operating at 2–4 bar.
