The BL120-401 is a replacement shut-off valve for the flow cell assembly used on Hanna Instruments BL12x series and HI5x0 series pool controllers. It sits in the sample line and lets you stop water flow through the flow cell so probes can be removed, cleaned or calibrated without draining or shutting down the whole circuit. It is supplied as a single valve, not as a complete flow cell.

Designed for the flow cell assemblies fitted to Hanna Instruments BL12x series dosing and control panels and HI5x0 series controllers. It replaces the original inlet or outlet shut-off valve on that flow cell. Check the valve body and thread on your existing part against the replacement before ordering, as older panel revisions may use a different fitting.

Waar het zich bevindt

The valve is mounted in the sample line either upstream of the flow cell (inlet, taken from the pressure side of the circulation pump) or downstream on the return to the pool. Depressurise and isolate the sample line before removing the old valve. Use PTFE tape or a suitable thread sealant on threaded connections and hand-tighten plastic fittings to avoid cracking the body.

Levensduur

Valve seals and seats wear from constant contact with chlorinated or salt-treated pool water and from repeated opening and closing during probe maintenance. Replace the valve when it drips with the handle closed, when flow cannot be fully stopped, or when the handle becomes stiff or seizes. Inspect it at each probe calibration interval.

Sold individually as a spare part, not as a kit and not including the flow cell body, probes or fittings. Most flow cell installations use two valves, one on the inlet and one on the outlet, so order the quantity you need. Probes and electrodes for BL12x and HI5x0 controllers are ordered separately.
