The Hanna Instruments HI1211T is an industrial pH electrode with a rugged PEI body and a double PTFE junction, designed for continuous in-line measurement in commercial pool water treatment. It uses the standard PG13.5 screw thread, so it fits the flow cells, in-line holders and immersion fittings used with Hanna pH controllers and dosing systems. The double junction reference construction resists clogging from the salts and disinfection by-products found in treated pool water.

The electrode is built around the industry-standard PG13.5 screw connection, so it mounts in any flow cell, T-piece holder or immersion assembly that accepts a PG13.5 process electrode. It is intended for use with Hanna Instruments pH controllers and dosing panels, but works with any controller input that matches the electrode’s cable and connector configuration. Always confirm the connector type on your existing probe cable before ordering.

Montagepositie

Fit the electrode into the measuring cell on the sample line downstream of the circulation pump and filter, where a steady, bubble-free flow passes the sensing bulb. Mount it upright or tilted no more than about 15 degrees from vertical so the internal reference electrolyte stays in contact with the junction. Working pressure at the electrode must stay within 3 bar and the sample temperature between -5 and 80 °C.

Levensduur

Glass pH electrodes are consumables: response slows and calibration slope drifts as the glass membrane and reference junction age. In continuous pool duty expect roughly 12 to 24 months, depending on water chemistry, chlorine load and cleaning routine. Replace the electrode when it can no longer be calibrated to specification or when the response time becomes noticeably long.

Opmerkingen bij het bestellen

Supplied as a single electrode; buffer solutions, cleaning solution, flow cell and cable are not included and must be ordered separately if required. Calibrate the new electrode with fresh pH 7 and pH 4 buffers before putting it into service. Keep the storage cap filled with storage solution until installation, and never let the bulb dry out.
