The BL120-500 is an adapter set used to mount an electrode or flow cell on Hanna Instruments panel-mounted controllers of the BL12x, BL13x and HI5x0 series. It provides the threaded fittings and seals needed to connect the sensor holder or flow cell into the sample line of a pool water treatment installation. It is supplied as a replacement or retrofit accessory for existing Hanna dosing and measuring panels.

Designed for Hanna Instruments controllers in the BL12x, BL13x and HI5x0 ranges, including panel-mounted pH, ORP and chlorine control units. It fits the standard electrode holder and flow cell arrangement used across these series. Always compare the fitting size on your existing installation before ordering, as older panels may use different thread sizes.

Montagepositie

The adapter set sits between the sample water line and the flow cell or electrode holder, sealing the measuring chamber against leaks. Fit it into the bypass line that carries a continuous sample from the circulation pipework to the controller panel. Isolate and depressurise the bypass before removing or replacing any fitting, and check for leaks after restarting flow.

Levensduur

The adapter fittings themselves are long-lasting, but the seals and O-rings degrade over time through exposure to chlorinated water, heat and UV. Replace the set if you see weeping around the connections, cracked plastic or a flow cell that no longer seats squarely. Inspect during each routine electrode change so the sensor and its mounting are serviced together.

If you are replacing a complete measuring chamber, order the matching flow cell and electrode at the same time to avoid mixing generations of fittings.
