This heavy-duty brass hose tail connector joins two lengths of 50 mm (2-inch) bore flexible hose without any threaded fittings. The barbed profile on each end bites firmly into the hose wall, creating a leak-resistant mechanical grip that is reinforced by jubilee clips or hose clamps. With a maximum working pressure of 30 bar and a temperature ceiling of 120 °C, the fitting is equally at home on high-pressure irrigation mains, pool plant-room pipework, and industrial fluid-transfer lines.
Machined from solid brass, the body resists corrosion in both fresh and mildly treated water, and its natural hardness ensures the barbs retain their profile under repeated hose installation cycles. The overall length of 85 mm keeps the connected assembly compact while still providing a full two-barb engagement zone on each side for secure retention. No solvents, adhesives, or special tooling are required — a hose, two clamps, and a pair of hands are all that is needed on site.
