This genuine Davey spare part is a combined suction filter and feeder tube drum weight for the acid dosing pump fitted to the Davey ProMatic Lifeguard pool chemistry control system. The two components work together to protect the peristaltic pH pump’s intake and ensure reliable acid delivery from the chemical drum. It is the direct replacement for worn, clogged, or lost originals in the acid dosing pump kit.

Come Funziona

The drum weight is threaded onto the suction feeder tube and sits at the bottom of the acid drum, keeping the tube intake submerged and preventing it from rising as the drum empties. The suction filter fits to the same end of the tubing and stops particulates from entering the peristaltic pump. Together, the weight and filter ensure the acid tube intake cannot suck itself flat against the base of the drum, protecting pump performance and consistency of pH dosing. Periodic cleaning of the filter is recommended to prevent dry acid residue and dirt build-up.
