AstralPool – Pre-filter Cover for Alaska Basic Pump

This is the genuine OEM pre-filter cover for the AstralPool Alaska Basic pump (model 69386). It forms the transparent or solid lid that seals the integrated pre-filter chamber, keeping the pump primed and protecting internal components from debris ingress. Replacing a cracked or damaged cover promptly prevents air leaks, loss of prime, and pump damage.

Compatibilità

This cover is designed specifically for the AstralPool Alaska Basic pump (parent SKU 69386) and corresponds to position 2 in the official Fluidra exploded view. The Alaska Basic is a self-priming pool circulation pump widely used in residential swimming pools across Europe. Always verify against your pump’s model number before ordering.

Perché l'originale conta

An original AstralPool cover ensures a precise fit against the pre-filter housing and provides a reliable seal alongside the corresponding O-ring. Aftermarket alternatives may not match the thread profile or seating dimensions, risking air infiltration, loss of prime, or premature wear. Using a genuine part preserves your pump’s warranty and long-term reliability.

Installazione

The pre-filter cover is hand-tightened onto the pre-filter housing — no specialist tools are required for removal or refitting. Always inspect and replace the pre-filter O-ring at the same time if it shows any sign of wear or deformation. Shut off the pump and isolate the plumbing before beginning any service work.
