With a peak heating capacity of 26 kW at A27/W27 and a peak COP of 16, the Norsup SG P 26X/32 is engineered to serve pools of 75–130 m³ on a single-phase 230 V supply — a rare combination at this output level. The full-inverter Mitsubishi rotary compressor modulates continuously between 0.43 kW and 3.88 kW motor draw, precisely matching heat demand rather than cycling on and off, keeping both energy bills and noise to a minimum. R32 refrigerant is used throughout, offering a global warming potential three times lower than the older R410A.

The SG P 26X/32 maintains useful output even when ambient air temperatures fall as low as −15 °C, making it a genuine all-season heater rather than a fair-weather unit. At the more common mid-season condition of A15/W25, the COP ranges between 5.2 and 8.2, meaning every kilowatt drawn from the grid delivers between five and eight kilowatts of heat to the pool water — well above conventional heat pump benchmarks. Automatic defrost and a soft-start circuit prevent voltage spikes on the supply.

Refrigerant, compressor & heat exchanger

The heart of the unit is a Mitsubishi rotary compressor — chosen for its variable-speed precision and proven durability in continuous outdoor operation. Pool water passes through a titanium twisted heat exchanger that resists corrosion from both chlorine and salt, making the unit equally suited to traditionally dosed and salt-chlorinated pools. The double-side airflow design draws air from both flanks of the 1,165 × 470 mm cabinet, reducing turbulence and keeping fan noise to a minimum.

Controller & connectivity

A full-colour touchscreen controller provides direct access to power, smart, and silent operating modes, together with programmable schedules and real-time inlet, outlet, and ambient temperature readouts. Wi-Fi is included as standard, enabling remote monitoring and control via the NorsupOne smartphone app on iOS or Android. SmartGrid-ready firmware allows the unit to be regulated in response to external heat-demand signals, supporting integration with building energy management systems.
