Bosta – Mechanical Seal No. 22 for Counter Current System Type STP

This is the genuine Bosta replacement mechanical seal (part No. 22) for the Counter Current System Type STP. The mechanical seal sits between the pump motor and the wet end, preventing water from leaking along the rotating shaft — a critical component for keeping the pump running safely and efficiently. Replacing a worn seal promptly protects the motor and surrounding installation from water damage.

Kompatibilitás

This seal is a designated spare part for the Bosta Counter Current System Type STP range, including the STP-2200 (2.2 kW, 55 m³/h, 75 mm connection). Always cross-reference the part number (No. 22) in your STP exploded-parts diagram before ordering to confirm fitment with your specific unit.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

As a genuine Bosta OEM part, this mechanical seal is manufactured to the exact tolerances required by the STP pump assembly. Aftermarket alternatives may differ in face material, spring tension, or bore dimensions, risking premature failure, leaks, or voided equipment warranties. Choosing genuine ensures the seal mates correctly with the shaft and pump housing.

Telepítés

Mechanical seal replacement requires draining the pump, disassembling the wet end, and carefully pressing the new seal onto the shaft without damage to the seal faces. The pump shaft and housing bore should be cleaned and inspected for scoring before fitting. Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended to ensure a leak-free result.
