Kripsol Koral KS pre-filter lid gaskets (pack of 10)

This is a pack of ten OEM pre-filter lid gaskets (O-rings) for the Kripsol Koral KS and KSE series pool pump. Each gasket seats in the groove between the transparent polycarbonate lid and the pre-filter housing, forming the airtight, watertight seal that allows the pump to self-prime and maintain its working pressure.

What this gasket does in the Koral KS

The lid gasket is the compression seal that closes the pre-filter chamber. Without an intact gasket, the pump draws air at the lid joint, loses prime, cavitates, and runs dry — accelerating wear on the mechanical seal and impeller. A fresh gasket restores full suction immediately. Apply a thin film of silicone-based lubricant to the O-ring before seating it; never use petroleum-based products, as these degrade the rubber compound.

These gaskets fit the Koral KS and KSE pump range, covering capacity variants KS/KSE 33, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, and 300. The pre-filter lid across this range shares a common O-ring groove: inner diameter approximately 14.7 cm, outer lid envelope approximately 21.7 × 17 cm. Do not fit to the Kapri or Ondina OK series — those models use different O-ring profiles.

Replace the lid gasket when you see air bubbles returning to the pool through the return jet, the pump struggles to re-prime after backwash, or you feel resistance drop when hand-tightening the lid (the gasket has lost its cross-section). A gasket flattened from over-tightening or dried out from UV exposure will not seal regardless of how hard you close the lid. Inspect it at the start of every season as a minimum.

Turn off and isolate the pump, then close the isolating valves. Remove the two wing screws and lift the polycarbonate lid clear. Pull the old O-ring from its groove and clean the seating channel of any debris or mineral deposits. Roll the new gasket into the groove — ensure it sits flat with no twist. Apply silicone lubricant sparingly, refit the lid, and hand-tighten the wing screws only; do not use tools. The pack of ten gives you stock for multiple services or poolside operations managing several pumps.
