Hanna Instruments Pool Line pH 4.01 calibration solution, 25 sachets of 20 ml (HI700044P)

This is a set of 25 single-use sachets of pH 4.01 buffer solution from the Hanna Instruments Pool Line range, each containing 20 ml. It is used to calibrate pH electrodes and pH testers on pool measuring and dosing equipment so readings stay accurate. Single-dose packaging keeps the buffer fresh and uncontaminated until the moment of use.

Mire alkalmas

The pH 4.01 buffer works with any pH electrode or pH meter that requires a standard acidic calibration point, including Hanna Instruments Pool Line testers, portable meters and panel-mounted pool controllers. It is typically used together with a pH 7.01 buffer for a two-point calibration. Because it is a standard NIST-style buffer value, it is not limited to a single instrument model.

Használati útmutató

Rinse the electrode with clean water, shake off the excess and open one sachet. Immerse the sensing tip in the solution, follow the calibration routine of your meter or controller, then discard the used sachet. Never pour used solution back into a sachet or bottle, and do not re-use a sachet for a second calibration.

Calibrate pool pH probes at least monthly, and more often in heavily loaded commercial pools or after cleaning or replacing an electrode. Sealed sachets have a long shelf life when stored cool and out of direct sunlight; once opened, the contents must be used immediately. Check the expiry date on the sachet before use, as an out-of-date buffer will shift the calibration.
