Davey - ProMatic ESC Controller Replacement Transformer (ESC 36 / ESC 48 / ESC 40) - M1788

Davey – ProMatic ESC Controller Replacement Transformer (ESC 36 / ESC 48 / ESC 40)

This is the genuine Davey replacement transformer for the ProMatic ESC salt water chlorinator controller, compatible with the ESC 36, ESC 48, and ESC 40 models. The transformer steps mains voltage down to the operating voltage required by the controller’s internal PCB and electronics, making it the heart of the power supply section inside the control box. It is replaced when the unit shows no power, fails to display, or is diagnosed with a transformer fault during servicing.

Kompatibilitás

This transformer is designed specifically for the Davey ProMatic ESC 36, ESC 48, and ESC 40 (MPS 40) salt water chlorinator control units. It is not interchangeable with transformers from the ESC 16, ESC 24, ESR, or EcoSpa series, which use different part numbers. Always verify your exact model number on the controller label before ordering.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

Using a genuine Davey transformer ensures the correct voltage output and physical fit for your specific controller variant. Non-genuine or mismatched transformers can damage the PCB, void any remaining warranty, and create electrical safety risks in a poolside environment. As Davey have flagged this part as available while stocks last, it is a clearance line — once stock is exhausted it will not be reordered, so securing a spare now is advisable for installers servicing ageing ESC units.

Telepítés

Transformer replacement requires opening the ESC control box and working with mains-connected components. All electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician or pool technician, with the unit fully isolated from the power supply before any work begins. Refer to the Davey ProMatic ESR/ESC Service Manual for step-by-step disassembly and reassembly procedures.
