Itap York 108 Brass Foot Valve – 1″ Female Thread, DN25, PN12

The Itap York 108 is a heavy-duty brass foot valve designed for pump suction lines in pools, irrigation systems, and greenhouse water supply installations. Fitted at the bottom of a suction pipe or inside a well, it prevents backflow when the pump stops, maintaining prime and protecting the pump from dry running. The valve body is manufactured from dezincification-resistant brass, while the integrated strainer basket is formed from stainless steel 304 mesh, keeping debris out of the system and extending pump service life.

The spring-loaded check mechanism uses an NBR seal, delivering reliable shut-off across a working temperature range of -20 °C to +100 °C. At a maximum working pressure of 12 bar (PN12), the York 108 is suited to high-head pumping applications where lesser valves fail. The nylon strainer collar creates a secure, corrosion-resistant joint between the brass body and the stainless steel basket, eliminating galvanic contact points that could accelerate wear.

The NBR seal is compatible with water and mild aqueous solutions within the stated temperature range. This valve is not rated for use with aggressive chemicals, hydrocarbons, or potable drinking water applications unless local regulations specifically permit brass fittings.
