The BL120-601 is a threaded plastic nipple in 1/2″ x 1/2″ size, supplied with an O-ring and sold as a pack of two. It is used to mount injection fittings, probe holders and pump connections on Hanna Instruments BL1xx and HI5x0 series dosing and control systems. The part forms the sealed threaded link between the fitting and the pool circulation pipework or manifold.

Designed for Hanna Instruments BL1xx series dosing pumps and controllers and the HI5x0 series panel systems. The 1/2″ male thread on both ends matches the standard injection and probe fittings used across these ranges. It also mates with common 1/2″ plastic pipe fittings found in commercial pool dosing loops.

Position de montage

The nipple screws into the tapping on the circulation pipe or dosing manifold, with the O-ring seated against the mating face to seal the joint. Fit the O-ring before tightening and use hand pressure plus a light final turn only, as over-tightening can crack the plastic thread. Always depressurise and isolate the line before removing or fitting the nipple.

Durée de vie

The plastic body is chemically resistant and normally lasts several seasons, while the O-ring is the wear item and hardens over time under chlorine and pH-corrective exposure. Replace the nipple if you see weeping at the joint, thread deformation or hairline cracking. Checking the seal during each annual service is recommended.

It is a fitting only and does not include the injection valve, probe holder or pipe clamp. Confirm your existing thread size before ordering, as some installations use 3/8″ or 3/4″ fittings.
