Davey – EcoSalt Transformer (Power Supply Internal Transformer) — While Stock Lasts

This is the genuine Davey internal replacement transformer for the EcoSalt salt water pool chlorinator power supply unit. The transformer is a core electrical component within the EcoSalt control/power supply box, responsible for converting mains voltage to the low-voltage DC current required to drive the electrolytic cell and generate chlorine. It is typically replaced when the power supply unit stops functioning despite intact fuses, wiring, and a healthy cell.

Compatibilité

This transformer is listed by Davey Europe as a spare part for the EcoSalt range (original EcoSalt series). Because Davey produces several EcoSalt generations and output variants, always verify compatibility against your unit’s model number and label before ordering. Davey advises consulting your authorised EcoSalt dealer if you have any doubt about which part is correct for your system.

Pourquoi l'authenticité est importante

Using a genuine Davey transformer ensures the power supply delivers the correct electrical output to the cell — protecting the titanium electrode plates from damage caused by incorrect voltage. Davey’s own documentation warns that using non-genuine components can cause serious damage to the electronics inside the unit and will void the warranty. As a discontinued line offered while stock lasts, availability of this part is strictly limited — once gone, it cannot be reordered.

Installation

Replacement of an internal transformer involves working with mains electrical connections inside the power supply unit. All power connections and internal wiring work must be carried out by a qualified, authorised electrician or pool technician in accordance with local electrical regulations. Do not attempt this replacement without the appropriate technical expertise.
