This is the genuine Zodiac outer body shell (coque) for the CN-series XA iQ robotic pool cleaners, finished in dark blue. The shell forms the structural outer casing of the robot, enclosing and protecting the internal drive motors, suction motor, filter basket assembly and electronics from pool water, UV exposure and mechanical impact during every cleaning cycle.

Function and structural role

The body shell is the primary load-bearing enclosure of the robot. It maintains the precise geometry that allows the drive tracks, brushes and impeller to operate in correct alignment. Any crack, warp or fracture in the shell compromises the watertight integrity of the unit and can allow pool water to ingress into the motor block and control electronics, leading to irreversible damage.
