This is the genuine AstralPool replacement diffuser assembly (position 19 in the official Fluidra exploded view) designed specifically for the AstralPool Alpine Filter with a 500 mm body diameter (model FAHS500L). The diffuser sits at the top of the internal distribution system inside the filter tank, evenly spreading the incoming water across the full surface of the filter media bed to ensure consistent, high-efficiency filtration.
