Zodiac – Ersatz für schwimmendes Kabel – R0516800

Zodiac – Austausch des schwimmenden Kabels – R0516800

The Zodiac R0516800 is a genuine replacement floating cable designed specifically for Polaris robotic pool cleaners. This cable serves as the power and communication lifeline between the robotic cleaner and its power supply unit, transmitting electrical current while remaining buoyant in the water to prevent tangling and ensure unrestricted movement of the robot across the pool floor, walls, and waterline. The floating design is a critical functional feature, as it keeps the cable elevated and free from the pool bottom, allowing the cleaner to navigate efficiently without the cable impeding its path or becoming caught under wheels or drive components.

Technische Merkmale und Kompatibilität

The R0516800 floating cable has a length of approximately 18 metres (60 feet), providing sufficient reach for a wide range of in-ground pool sizes and configurations. The cable is constructed with a buoyant outer jacket that gives it its characteristic floating property, protecting the internal conductors while remaining flexible and resistant to pool chemicals, UV exposure, and continuous immersion. This is a genuine Zodiac OEM part, ensuring electrical compatibility and mechanical fit with the original power supply unit connectors.

Dieses Ersatzkabel ist nachweislich kompatibel mit folgenden Polaris-Poolrobotermodellen:

• Polaris 9300 Sport Robotic (Eingestellt)
• Polaris 9350 Sport Robotic
• Polaris 9400 Sport Robotic (Eingestellt)
• Polaris 9450 Sport Robotic

When replacing this cable, ensure the power supply unit is fully disconnected before installation. The cable connects between the transformer/power supply and the cleaner unit using the manufacturer’s proprietary connectors, making a like-for-like OEM replacement straightforward and reliable.

Eignung und Kaufempfehlungen

This part is intended for owners of the Polaris 9300, 9350, 9400, and 9450 Sport robotic pool cleaners who have experienced cable damage, fraying, loss of buoyancy, or electrical faults in the existing floating cable. Over time, floating cables can degrade due to prolonged UV exposure, chemical contact, or physical stress during pool cleaning cycles, making periodic replacement a practical maintenance requirement. Replacing the cable with a genuine Zodiac OEM part ensures the cleaner continues to operate at its designed performance level, with proper power delivery and unrestricted movement throughout the pool. This cable is suitable for use in in-ground pools of standard residential dimensions where the 9300/9400 Sport series cleaners are deployed.
