The HI991301 is a handheld multi-parameter water tester that measures pH, electrical conductivity up to 20.00 mS/cm, total dissolved solids and temperature in a single reading. It is supplied with the HI12883 combination probe, which houses the pH sensor, conductivity cell and temperature sensor in one body. In pool and spa service work it is used for spot checks of water balance and dilution levels wherever a fixed controller is not installed.

Amb què és compatible

The meter is a standalone portable instrument and does not connect to a dosing panel or controller. It works with the supplied HI12883 multi-parameter probe, which is the matching replacement sensor for this model. Standard Hanna pH buffer and conductivity calibration solutions are used for routine calibration.

Using the meter

Rinse the HI12883 probe with the sample water, immerse it past the sensing area and allow the reading to stabilise before recording. Calibrate the pH channel with buffer solutions and the EC channel with a conductivity standard at the intervals set by your site procedure. Rinse and store the probe in storage solution after each use rather than letting the bulb dry out.

Durada de servei

The meter body itself is durable, but the HI12883 electrode is a consumable that ages with use. Expect probe replacement when readings drift, calibration fails or response becomes slow, typically after one to two years in regular service. Keeping the glass bulb wet and clean is the single biggest factor in probe life.

Supplied as a complete meter with the HI12883 probe included. Calibration and storage solutions are ordered separately as consumables. Replacement probes are also available individually under their own SKU.
