Zodiac – Complete free gear box CyclonX PMS2915 – R0632201

The Zodiac R0632201 is the complete free gear box (cassette de roue libre) designed specifically for the Zodiac CyclonX PMS2915 automatic pool cleaner. This is an original manufacturer spare part that forms a critical mechanical component within the drive system of the robot, responsible for transmitting and regulating the motion that propels the cleaner across the pool floor and walls. When the free gear cassette wears out or becomes damaged, the robot may lose traction, move erratically, or stop moving altogether — making this a key service part for maintaining full cleaning performance.

The free gear box assembly works by engaging or disengaging drive from the motor to the wheels depending on the directional movement of the cleaner. This one-way clutch mechanism allows the CyclonX to change direction and navigate obstacles efficiently without back-driving the motor. Over time, internal components such as the ratchet springs or pawls within the cassette can wear, especially in pools with heavy debris loads or frequent use. Replacing the cassette with a genuine Zodiac OEM unit ensures the original engineering tolerances are maintained, preserving the cleaning cycle accuracy and drive reliability of the robot.

Compatibilitate și context tehnic

This free gear box is engineered to fit the Zodiac CyclonX PMS2915 robotic pool cleaner. It is listed under diagram position 8 in the official CyclonX spare parts diagram and is also referenced by the cross-reference code ZPWS7580 in certain market listings. As an OEM component sourced directly from Zodiac, it is manufactured to the exact specifications of the original part fitted during production. Using non-genuine substitutes may result in poor fitment or premature failure, which is why sourcing the correct R0632201 reference is strongly recommended for this repair.

Recomandări privind alegerea și achiziționarea

This part is intended for owners and service technicians maintaining the Zodiac CyclonX PMS2915 robotic pool cleaner. It is suitable for both residential and light commercial pool environments where the CyclonX model is in use. If your CyclonX robot is showing signs of reduced drive power, uneven movement, or complete loss of traction on one side, inspecting and replacing the free gear cassette is a logical first diagnostic step. This replacement part is straightforward to install for those familiar with robotic cleaner servicing and is supplied as a complete cassette assembly, meaning no additional sub-components are required for the repair.
