Rated to a robust 64 bar and designed for a temperature range of -10 °C to +150 °C, this compact Profec 2-piece ball valve is built for demanding pool plant and mechanical-room pipework where corrosion resistance and long service life are non-negotiable. The 3/8″ female-thread connections on both ends make it a natural choice for chemical dosing lines, pressure-gauge tappings, heat-pump service ports, and salt-chlorinator bypass circuits where smaller-bore shut-off control is required.

Body & seal materials

The valve body, ball, and lever are machined from grade 316 stainless steel — a molybdenum-bearing alloy that resists chloride attack far better than standard 304 grade, making it well suited to the saline and chemically dosed water found in pool plant rooms. Seating and seals are PTFE, which is chemically inert across virtually all pool treatment media and delivers low-torque, reliable shut-off even after extended service periods.

Quarter-turn operation & dimensions

A simple 90° turn of the stainless steel lever fully opens or closes the valve, giving immediate visual confirmation of the flow state. The overall rod length is 103 mm with a face-to-face body length of 49 mm, keeping the installed footprint minimal in confined equipment bays. The 12.5 mm bore diameter (ØDf) ensures unobstructed flow through the 3/8″ line at rated pressure.
